Back in the day – when better mobility meant “faster horses“ – German engineers came up with a revolutionary solution. These blue-collar heroes developed the combustion engine and it turned out to be one of the inventions that helped Germany to prosper. 

But with electrification and the push for sustainable mobility the end of the combustion engine seems near. Can German engineering pull another rabbit out of its hat? On their mission to find the iNEXT, our documentary film team meets the BMW engineers tasked with the tough challenge of inventing the future of mobility. As we explore their stories, we ask ourselves two things: Will they be able to square the circle? And when do we get to see that damned iNEXT?!?
