RE:IMAGINE MUSIC

RE:IMAGINE MUSIC
Re:imagining the world as we know it is the main theme for BMW’s presence at this year’s IAA Mobility summit, including an exclusive world-class music event, downtown Munich.

Entire worlds built for virtual exploration, massive projection mapping shows and in-depth looks at how the future of mobility can be re-imagined: this year, the BMW Group thinks anew and questions the status quo in search of a better future.

As a special treat, BMW will also make a bid to re:imagine music. A one-off exclusive experience, RE:IMAGINE MUSIC is our invitation to all music lovers in town.

RE:IMAGINE MUSIC features a star line-up of both established and up-coming talent, coming together for an exclusive live event. The event takes place from September 9th to September 11th in an iconic location downtown Munich and is sure to set its mark on the city during the IAA summit.

THE ACTS

BILDERBUCH

Bilderbuch is a unique band in the German-speaking music landscape. Since their 2015 breakthrough with the album Schick Schock, the Viennese musicians have become known for their inimitable, expansive soundscapes and subtle, multi-layered lyrics. Drawing from the deepest roots of pop music, the quartet produces anthem after anthem for the present with uncanny intuition, creating a fusion of avant-garde and everyday life. From psychedelic to stadium rock, from groove to ballads, each new album generates its own soul landscape of sounds and lyrics. Everyday objects, problems and aspirations are transformed into pure poetry. Cool, politics, past and future go hand in hand. Bilderbuch sets modern lifestyles to music unlike almost any other band in Europe.

ZOE WEES

Zoe manages to tell her personal stories authentically and unembellished to strangers, winning them over with her sincerity. Her strong and empowering debut single “Control” confronts the emotional scars left by the condition she lives with: Rolando epilepsy. Since the release of “Girls Like Us,” her debut EP “Golden Wings” has been released with her first two singles and three extra songs. Since the EP was announced, the Hamburg-born woman has been announced as Apple Music’s Next Up Artist for April 2021 and has appeared twice on U.S. television—on Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Late Late Show with James Corden. The 19-year-old singer undoubtedly has a sense of humor, but behind that wide grin lies a relentless attention to her craft, as she demonstrates fully in the studio. On stage she gives everything and says about herself: “I am 100 percent myself, always, and I love to express my feelings through my voice. Music will always be my mouthpiece.”
